CESR Contracts and Grants Coordinator

The Departmental Contracts and Grants Coordinator will join a busy soft money research center in Dornsife, the Center for Economic and Social (CESR).

This key role will join a very small team responsible for hundreds of proposal submissions each year, managing ~100 project accounts. This position will be assigned a team of researchers for whom to manage all aspects of the lifecycle of their contract and grant funding, from letter of intent, proposal development and submission, award and budget set up, subcontracts, progress reports, and project reporting. The majority of our grants are federal, but we continue to expand into foundation and private company work.

Preferred candidates will come from an academic or research background with experience in account management, budgeting, grants management, database development and proposal submissions. A general understanding of cost structures, financial systems, and excellent excel skills are a must.

CESR is an exciting and diverse place to work with room for growth. This position can be tailored to candidate strengths in other areas not outlined above, such as entrepreneurship, fundraising, and database development, project management, and more.

This position is funded on contracts and grants.
