The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for the daily sustenance of production systems to foster a manufacturing excellence culture for our high-volume Consumables and Automated Packaging operations in Lodi, California.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Owns, monitors, and improves Manufacturing KPI Overall Equipment Efficiency, Throughput, Mean Time Before Failure, and YieldLeads daily execution of Standard Works Centerlines, Statistical Process Control, Start-ups and Shutdowns, and ChangeoversLeads the development of daily, weekly, monthly OEE loss trees and 30/60/90-day loss-elimination roadmapLeads problem solving using continuous improvement tools line balancing, capability study, rate study, RCAs, cause and effects, PFMEAs, A3s, kaizens, and 5SLeads daily, weekly, and monthly management meetings to deliver status reports for ongoing performance improvement initiativesAssists in the development of technical and operating standards Standard Operating Procedures, One Point Lessons, Job-Aides, and Troubleshooting Guides and training of manufacturing AssociatesCreates validation documents (IQ, OQ, & PQ) and leads executionof process qualifications for new and existing production systems The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level.

A minimum of5+ years overall related engineering experience within medical device or a regulated industry or Fortune 100 companyAbility to work shifts (Day/Swing/Graveyard) based on business needProfessional Certification Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or must be on track to getting certified within six months of hire.Proficient with Manufacturing software Minitab, Quality Window, Allen Bradley Factory-Talk, and Microsoft Applications MS-Visio, MS-Power BI, MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPointAbility to cleanse, analyze, organize, and present complex and unstructured production data graphically to deliver insights It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:TPM, TQS, and Lean Manufacturing principlesWork independently to deliver projects and cross-functionally with Maintenance Engineering, Quality Engineering, Automation Engineering, and Material Supply team Cepheid, a Danaher company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
