About the Opportunity

Our Critical Care Transport RNs (CCT RNs) travel on ambulances with our critical care transport teams, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls and delivering high quality patient care and customer service.

About the Candidate

Minimum Requirements:

Active, unencumbered nursing license in the state of California
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a diploma, Associates, Bachelors, or higher degree
Two (2) or more years of experience (within the last 18 months) of nursing experience in a critical care environment (ER or ICU) or in the CCT / EMS field

Must be a “self-starter” and assertively take on challenging responsibilities and hold self ultimately accountable for results and performance Must have superb diagnostic and clinical skills and able to obtain an excellent history, perform an extensive physical and formulate a treatment plan while including the team members.

Has extensive knowledge of the uses, dosages and side effects of medications as they apply to different disease states, and able to assess clinically whether or not the medication is effective Must have excellent multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and perform a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction Must have excellent, in-depth knowledge of physiological functions and processes as they relate to issues of patient care.
