As the counter attendant, you will often be the first point of contact for our guests as they enter the restaurant.
Your position is one of high visibility and carries a high level of responsibility.
You will be expected to communicate with our guests in a friendly and sincere manner, both in person and on the telephone.
You should be knowledgeable on the menu and the varying products we carry, as you will be responsible for taking a majority of the orders that are placed throughout each shift.
You may also need to guide our guests on the steps of service particular to our restaurant (ex.
how/where to pick up food, order drinks, find a table etc.).
The responsibilities of the counter attendant include, but are not limited to, taking orders, both in person and to go, answering the phone, juice prep, preparing and stocking coffee/espresso, maintaining to go sauces, and making sure the counter is always stocked.
