Overall duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in developing and implementing community based/inhouse consumer programming in accordance with clients needs, preferences, deserires as per their IPP.
  • Document daily progress of client according to the established plan of care.
  • Able to teach independent living skills such as
    • cooking proper nutrition, laundry, cleaning(housekeeping)
    • socialization, job hunting, resume writing and interviewing
    • learning bus routes
    • obtaining a driver’s license/ID card
  • Ability to safely address behavior concerns using proper technique
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Report any problems to the program manager immediately such as violation of any kind including any abuse allegations.
  • Train the clients on the characteristics of sexual exploitation.
  • Provide gang and drug prevention and intervention

Requirement

  • Highschool dipolma/GED
  • 1 year experience working with similar population
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Ability to read and understand treatment program/IPP
  • Able to work well under pressure
