Capital Markets Associate

The Capital Markets team sits in a unique position at ProducePay, working with the entire Company from the Sales team to the Board of Directors.

The team takes the lead with the Co-Founders on both equity capital raising as well as debt facilities used to power advances to farmers, owns the financial performance reporting used by the C-Suite and the Board of Directors to run the Company, is in charge of investor relations for both equity investors and debt facility providers, and plays the lead in forward-looking strategy projects to further increase the Company’s already strong growth.

You will be an integral part of our finance team reporting to the Director of Capital Markets, working closely with the C-Suite, Board of Directors, and investors to build out data analytics, models, reports, and presentations.

This position is ideal for someone who is ambitious, hardworking, enjoy problem-solving, and who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive into the details.

You will partner with internal business partners from Sales, Operations, Risk, Product, and Technology to help drive insight and develop tools that benefit ProducePay and its investor base and Board of Directors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop analytical frameworks and predictive models to optimize company profit and product performance
  • Develop and standardize metrics and dashboards that would result in consistent measurements across sales and marketing for the benefit of management, board, and lenders
  • Develop detailed financial models and impactful marketing materials for fundraising
  • Develop investor analytics capabilities including internal and client-facing tools and reporting
  • Develop metrics and support investor communication for credit-related topics
  • Analyze investor strategies and performance
  • Assist with ad-hoc analytics and comprehensive reporting
  • Ensure that proper coordination and communication between teams is as efficient as possible
  • This role requires an extremely high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion given the level of access to company information

Requirements

  • Investment Banking experience, ideally 2 years in an Analyst program at a leading firm
  • The highest level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is critical
  • Substantial experience developing detailed financial models
  • Comfort working with very large data sets
  • Experience with Tableau and SQL is a plus
  • Familiarity with lending business models
  • Goal-driven, focused, independent worker and can-do attitude
  • Fluency in Spanish is a major plus
