Contract position for a multi-family new construction project in the Eagle Rock area of Los Angeles. Candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing kitchen cabinetry and countertops (Formica-type) in kitchens and baths.
Requirements:
- Experience in kitchen and bath installation for multi-family new construction.
- Must be able to assemble and install cabinets, moldings, hardware and laminate countertops.
- Ability to read kitchen plans (elevations and layouts).
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- -Reads, understands and follows the instructions prepared on plans and shop drawings.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment.
- Will practice good housekeeping at all times to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite.
- Ability to take accurate measurements.
- Excellent carpentry and hand tool skills.
- Ability to use power tools (drill, jigsaw, etc.).
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
- Be able to work without supervision in a fast-paced environment while meeting high expectations.
- Must be able to lift up 50lbs and able to stand and walk for long periods of time
