We are hiring to support both store and Ecommerce growth in 2022 and beyond.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Our Buyer will support the Founder and Merchandising team in executing an omni merchandise strategy focused on serving our customer. In this role they will be accountable for in season business analysis, determining product needs and execution of the buy. Partnership with both external and internal partners, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills will be key to a success in this role. The Buyer role requires strong problem solving skills and sense of urgency in driving profitable business.
Responsibilities
- Assists in all aspects of executing the merchandise strategy
- Reporting, data entry, PO maintenance
- Analyzes business and maximizes opportunities. Monitors and reacts to inventory productivity
- Feels comfortable chasing business and managing expectations. Comfortable with taking calculated risks
- Vendor communication & follow up. Builds and maintains strong and meaningful vendor relationships
- Photoshoot prep, obtaining and organizing samples
- Has a pulse on the market trends and the competitive landscape
Qualifications
- BFA or BA in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field preferred
- Must have 1-2 years of experience in a buying capacity, both the creative and financial aspects of merchandising
- Must possess basic knowledge of production, product development, specifically in the fashion retail industry
- Strong analytical skill set
- Must have exceptional organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and fast learner. Must be proactive, detail oriented, and possess the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Must possess basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Shopify experience is a must.
- Candidate must be local to Greater Los Angeles Metro Area. This is a hybrid in-person/remote role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
