Busser

ATLA, an Enrique Olvera project moving to the west coast is currently seeking experienced Bussers to join their opening team.

Task and Responsibilities

  • Prepare the dining room for guests by cleaning and clothing tables; setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
  • Protect establishment and guest by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
  • Maintain menu presentation by keeping menus clean; replacing when damaged or soiled,
  • Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
  • Support wait staff by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers, liners, and bus stations.
  • Occasionally serve food to guest
  • Adhere to closing duties such as cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors; removing trash and recyclables from the facility.
  • Responsible for bringing dirty plates and glassware to the dishwasher station in an organized manner
  • Update job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
  • Adhere to all company procedures as it pertains to personal appearance, attendance and conduct
  • Follow and complete daily checklists for opening and closing side work duties.
  • Maintain an excellent level of cleanliness in all areas of service. This includes having respect for common areas shared with other employees of the restaurant.
  • Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge to promote company culture.
  • Communicate guest requests/issues to the manager when needed.
  • Maintain a hygienic and safe environment at all times.
  • Perform inventory responsibilities daily.
  • Report the breakage, loss or theft of any restaurant property

Physical Demands

Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, using fingers and hands, kneeling, or crouching.

 

Position Requirements

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role at a full service, fine dining restaurant
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends, and shifts from morning through late night

Compensation: Hourly ($16.78+ Tips)
