Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst is the primary liaison between the IT and business areas.
– Applies IT and business knowledge and experience to formulate an IT solution for a business problem.
– Works with clients on activities of moderate complexity; consults with clients and senior IT personnel to develop solutions to business or technical problems.

Duties:
– Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
– Performs work using existing standards, methodologies and processes and understands other systems/business processes relationship to each other. Investigates alternatives, which use existing applications.
– Develops test plans and conducts the necessary tests to confirm design requirements.
– Prepares, develops and conducts clients and systems training.
– Completes project tasks within time and budget constraints.
– Identifies and implements process improvements.

Job Requirements:

Required:
– Bachelors degree, No advanced degree required.
– 2-4 years of experience.

– Perform configuration and maintenance of the MES software based on business requirements
– Provide level 1 MES system support to local manufacturing business teams
– Performs business process analysis to define configuration requirements
– Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties

JOB CONTENT (Or Provide A Job Description):
Main Purpose Of Job:
– Working under general supervision, Provides level 1 MES system support to local manufacturing business teams.
– Works directly with clients and applies IT, business knowledge and experience to determine root causes of any issues encountered by the manufacturing business teams while utilizing the MES software to manufacture product.
– Perform configuration of the FTPC MES software based on business requirements that are routed through the PLM (product lifecycle management) systems of WindChill.

– Perform configuration and maintenance of the MES software based on business requirements
– Provide level 1 MES system support to local manufacturing business teams
– Performs business process analysis to define configuration requirements
– Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties
– Ability to coordinate large projects as a configuration resource
– Ability to perform end to end-user training as needed
– Provides support to existing applications and resolves business and technical problem
– Communicates effectively with management to enhance their understanding of the opportunities and limitations of information systems
– Ensure compliance with all Client procedures including all applicable regulatory agency requirements
– Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education, Work Experience, Certifications/Licenses, Etc:
– If a degree is generally required, what level (bachelors, associates, etc.) and type (area of study)
– Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
– 5+ years of technical experience
– 5+ years of experience with FTPC and/or PROMIS MES systems
– 5+ years of manufacturing / shop floor knowledge / experience
– Advanced computer knowledge and experience
– Excellent communication and customer service skills.
– Able to bridge communication between technical areas and business areas for a full and complete understanding of expectations
– Ability to multi-task efficiently on several simultaneous efforts
– Experience in training material creation and delivery, using a variety of training methods
– Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
– Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
– Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
– Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
