As a Business Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving operational efficiency and supporting our company’s rapid growth from a small scale beverage start-up to a national brand.You will work closely with the company founders and be chiefly responsible for sales data input, management, reporting, and upkeep. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be instrumental in managing our sales and inventory data to identify opportunities for improvement in our procurement, supply chain, inventory management, and sales processes. You will be tasked with creating and maintaining standard reports/KPIs that provide actionable insights for the company to improve its processes and overall performance. In addition to your data management responsibilities, you may also be asked to assist with other miscellaneous administrative/back office support tasks.Key Responsibilities:Data Management – Input, manage, and analyze sales and inventory data while identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track sales and inventory metrics.Build and maintain custom spreadsheets by pulling, organizing, and analyzing information from a field sales app into Google Sheets on a daily basis.Keep QuickBooks up to date with data in Google Sheets, inputting sales data from field reps on a daily basis.Maintain ongoing, proactive correspondence with the sales team to import field sales data, ask questions, verify data, etc.Reconcile Cash/Check Amount for Sales Reps on a weekly basisCalculate bonus payments to Sales Reps on a weekly basisInventory Management – Monitor and track inventory and ingredient levels and perform demand forecasting and depletion reports in order to better understand the timing and scale of future production requirements. Keep all inventory and ingredient tallies up to date across systems.Track product inventory across QB, Shopify, and ERP tool. Keep values up to date.Forecast days/months to zeroTrack inventory by SKU. Keep values up to date.Track ingredients. Keep values up to date.Track packaging. Keep values up to date.Track merchandise. Keep values up to date.General Back Office Support – Provide ad hoc back office support at the request of the company founders to support a wide array of different business objectives.Manage day to day correspondence with 3PL/Fulfillment warehouseManage day to day correspondence with Quickbooks/Book KeeperManage recurring software or other subscriptions for companyManaging Business Licenses/PermitsDrop product off at storesAnswer inbound phone callsHelp with set up of new systems/officeAttend bi-weekly meetingsProcurement – Manage the process of ordering bulk ingredients from suppliers and liaising with contacts at co-packing facility to ensure production runs go smoothly. You will be chiefly responsible for arranging and preparing the logistics tied to future production runs.Calculate total ingredients required using workbook with conversion formulasEstablish standard lead times for different ingredients and “drop dead” deadlineOrder ingredients and other production materials direct from suppliersVerify ingredients have arrived at co-packer facility in correct amountsLead the correspondence with the co-packer & manage details of production runsQualifications:At least 2 years of professional work experience in a similar role.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.Strong knowledge of Google Sheets software including VLookup, Pivot Tables, and Formulas.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex data sets.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to to executive leadership and external stakeholders.Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.To apply, please submit your resume, a cover letter, and any relevant work samples to hello@drinknewbrew.com.
