What you’ll do
We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Analytics Team and leverage our data and support internal stakeholders such as Data Science, Finance, Product, Operations, and Marketing.
We are looking for someone well into their career with solid analytical grounding and intuition along with engineering skills to help distill data into insights and support Eaze.
We are a full distributed team and the role is remote.
We have offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles for anyone who’d like to visit.
- Collaborate with teams in Central Ops, Marketing, Finance in building data pipelines and creating reports leveraging SQL and generate analyses based on project requirements
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms (Tableau and Mode Analytics) and connections to database (Redshift) Monitor, debug, and improve existing ETL pipelines for projects and reports
- Develop and update technical documentation for BI related projects
- Pioneer and own BI initiatives and become a leader in the analytics around Eaze’s growing lines of business.
What you bring
- 3+ years of industry experience in BI development or analytics is preferred
- Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g.
bonus for Tableau)
- Excellent knowledge of SQL (Redshift, MSSQL, Postgres)
– you write queries every day - Experiences in working with stakeholders in defining the scope and requirement of projects as well as understanding and validating underlying data
- Analytical intuition and data visualization skills to communicate insights and explain concepts to other teams
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative; you don’t mind going into the weeds to get answers and you love learning new tools
- Bonus: Experience in ETL workflows and tools (Airflow, Airtable), programming in Python
