Job DescriptionThe Business Intelligence Analyst Lead will support the delivery of merchandising insights via ad hoc data pulls, reporting, and data analysis. The ideal candidate needs to be able to think strategically about the business needs and discover impactful insights from data.A day in the life…* Respond to fast turn, merchandising specific BI analytic requests from a wide variety of business partners and demonstrate consistently high analytic and reporting output productivity* Build, manage, evaluate, and evolve a suite of Tableau Dashboards and other self-service tools for our key stakeholders* Own and drive large, complex analysis and provide insights and recommendations to business leaders* Communicate results clearly and efficiently to our business partners* Offer strategic guidance to both analysts and business teams on how to best leverage our tools and data – at first cross functional analysts, then same team* Maintain efficient QA processes to ensure the accuracy and quality of data* Provide exceptional customer service through professionalism, ownership, and initiativeYou own this if you have…* Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field (or equivalent experience)* Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Tableau required* 5+ years of experience in extracting & manipulating large data sets from various databases, and derive concise and actionable results* SQL experience preferred (Teradata preferred)* Ability to think strategically, assess key stakeholder requests, and advocate for data-driven solutions* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data visualization best practices* Demonstrated ability to QA reporting process to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and efficient resourcing* Knowledge of statistics and statistical analysis a plus* Experience in retail merchandising a plus* Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skillsWe’ve got you coveredOur employees are our most important asset and that’s reflected in our benefits.
