Business Development Coordinator

Hi, compadre.

We’re looking for a Business Development Coordinator to support Compadre Executives and the Director of Business Development.n nAs a young, growing agency, you will play an integral role in defining long-term strategic goals while simultaneously short-term new business initiatives.

Typical areas of work for the agency include brand strategy, brand identity design, and marketing campaigns; you will also be tasked with researching industry trends, staying up-to-date with industry news, and interfacing with prospective-and existing-clients to lock new business.n nYou will work directly with the Partners of Compadre.

We tend to wear many hats as a growing agency, so you are ideally a multitasker, can take direction or work autonomously.n nTop Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:n nGeneral/Annual/Administrative:n Book, modify, and update travel accommodations for the Executive team including Flights, Hotel, Ground Transportation Create and share detailed travel itineraries for the Executive team Including Meetings, Dinners, Events, Travel Times, all details Manage expense reports and collect receipts for the Director of Business Development to code against jobs.

Track costs associated with Marketing and Biz Dev initiativesn Communication and Writing:n Social postings, PR releases, Emails to new and existing clients.

Clear, confident, and structured email and phone communication with new and existing clients and vendors is a very important aspect of this position.n Weekly Meetings:n Update agendas, prepare for and take detailed notes during all Marketing, PR, Sales, and Biz Dev meetings Company n Digital/Social Platforms:n Manage and Update the Compadre website and social media platforms with new content and special stories to keep us front and center.n Strategy and Innovation:n Research opportunities to increase PR, engage more individuals, gain followersn Pipedrive:n Manage client contact database and maintain data integrity in Pipedriven Research:n Local Industry, Marketing Events, and Industry News and New business opportunities Researching key decision-makers and upcoming initiatives for active and inactive clients, as well as sales leads, and compiling findings into actionable insights.n Coordinate and Attend all New Business Calls and Meetings:n Coordinate new business meetings by working with someone on the client-side.

Take notes during internal and client-facing calls and meetings regarding new business and distribute it to the executive team.n Press Releases:n Oversee and push along the creation of all press releases.

Organize and produce teams in the creation and completion of project case studiesn Reporting:n Send out bi-monthly reports of press traction Help interpret and analyze data to develop and recommend strategies and tactics.n Minimum Requirements:n nThe ideal candidate is a recent graduate or senior-level student working towards a Business Communication degree or a closely related field.n LA-based 1-2 years of business experience working in an entertainment or creative agency.

Working knowledge and passion for the entertainment industry, business strategy, and emerging media.

Strong analytical & critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication, note-taking, and writing skills.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and plan ahead.

Neurotically organized.

Proficient in Mac OS X, including Pages & Keynote.

Proficiency in Google Docs and spreadsheet management.

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus, but not required.
