customer Success (CS) is the champion of customer success by ensuring our customers are successfully utilizing and consuming the Microsoft 3 clouds; CS learns from our customers and drives customer feedback into engineering to ensure that we are building a world-class platform and end-to-end experience for our customers.nn nnThe Modern Work Customer Success team drives business strategy for usage of Microsoft 365 workloads and help our customers realize business value from their investments, by supporting the Customer Success field teams with programmatic and scalable assets.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager, to develop and manager programs to drive and accelerate consumption for Teams in the Small Medium Corp (SMC) space.

This will include collaborating across Business Groups, Segment and field teams to design engines to land the MW strategies across advanced workloads including Meetings and Platform.nn nn Responsibilities nn nn Design the SMC strategy for usage and consumption acceleration strategy for CSU in alignment with Marketing and Engineering group: nn nnPartner with key Customer Success roles and the M365 Marketing Business Group to design consumption engiens and programsnn nnLead usage and consumption strategies and execution motions focused on strategic workloads including Meetings and Teamsnn nnLead and influence cross-org interactions to receive feedback, provide input, and collaborate on key work streams to analyze and tune consumption strategy;nn nnValidate and adjust strategy leveraging key Microsoft milestones (Monthly Business Reviews, SCRUM, QBC, SLT, etc.);nn nnContribute to the development of assets for key strategic communication processes including leadership updates and Rhythm of the Business (RoB)nn nn Drive Business Scorecard Metrics: nn nnAlign with Marketing Business Group to define key success metrics supporting business priorities Support the WW consumption teams, CSU leadership to enable a green metricnn nnReview WW area feedback during business update synchs and work together with the various teams and with areas to course correct and/or address their issues.nn nn Act as SMC Segment and BG liaison: nn nnDevelop strong organizational relationships and ROB to influence engineering and SMC segment decisions on behalf of the WW Customer Success Organization.nn nnParticipate and enable discussions for CSU Modern Work and Office Marketing Business Group Connection meetingsnn nnOwn and lead discussion with SMC/ Marketing business group during regular ROB.

Responsibilities include: Carrying the voice of the field, providing updates on key blockers, offer results and field execution status, sharing Field feedback on execution, marketing programs, content and roadmapsnn nn Lead as SME for SMC Engines: nn nnDesign and land existing and new engines to support the WW Area including collaborating on partner and scale strategiesnn nnSupport as a SME the consumption execution team in landing the FY Next planning and in developing field programsnn nn Support Customer and Field Engagements: nn nnDeliver executive business communications and/or customer visits per team goals to support consumption and strengthen customer perspectivenn nnPerform field visits per team goals to support consumption, evaluate model performance and strengthen customer perspectivenn nn Qualifications nn nnMinimum of 5 years of experience in sales or consulting with various customer segments and/or partners and understanding of field needs to successfully drive new programs at scale.nn nnDeep experience with SMC business including experience with a partner network and driving scale businessesnn nnStrong analytical skills, able to distill key insights from incomplete datann nnStrong, confident executive communication (written and oral)nn nnAbility to influence without authoritynn nnStrategic thinker combined with strong ability to execute and drive for results in ambiguous environmentnn nnVersatile with proven ability to be adaptable in rapidly evolving business/org situationsnn nnEffectively manage budgets and utilize vendor resourcesnn nnUnderstanding of Microsoft 365 workloads and scenariosnn nnMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
