WHY WE NEED YOU
This role will be intimately involved in the deal evaluation and analysis for commercial opportunities globally for Virgin Hyperloop and support the deployment and adoption of the Virgin Hyperloop system across the world. Additionally, this may include the evaluation of new market, businesses, or product opportunities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Analyze large amounts of data, discover and solve real world problems
- Prepare and maintain detailed financial models and analysis for complex transportation projects, including triaging with appropriate internal and external parties to input appropriate assumptions and developing relevant project metrics
- Summarize findings in presentations and draft reports to the Virgin Hyperloop leadership team, the board, and external partners
- Analyze and research potential new project opportunities, product markets, and conduct extensive market and industry due diligence
- Assist with legal documentation and deal negotiations
- Source new business opportunities
- This role may be external facing when necessary with minimal travel required
WHAT YOU’VE DONE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or another quantitative field or equivalent work experience
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders in an ambiguous environment
- Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
NICE TO HAVE
- Basic understanding of transportation, logistics, and technology industries
- Prior experience building financial and/or business models
