The Provider Operations team Data and Analytics team provides analytical support to the operations department. We track operational performance, provider data management, dashboard reporting, and provider data quality tracking. The Business Analyst, Experienced will report to the Data and Analytics Manager. In this role you will intake report requests, facilitate meetings, gather reporting needs, document requirements, and test the reports created by the development team. This role will work closely with our Credentialling, Provider Enrollment, Product Management, and various other supporting teams. You will be a part of a team to solve business problems and needs. You will be required to analyze and synthesize information for our stakeholders and help them achieve their goals.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Provide analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations
- Develop, prepare, and analyze reports for management review, and present to various levels of management.
- Define business requirements and provide analysis to increase operational efficiency
- Analyze actual reporting results against business expectations and recommend interventions where appropriate
- Analyze and summarize Provider data for comparative analysis, requirement analysis, root cause analysis using SAS, Business Objects (BO), Tableau or Excel.
- Intake requests, facilitate meetings with the business to understand data and business needs.
- Manage small data reporting process, issues, and escalations
- Document and maintain requirements in established standards and procedures
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 3 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires ability to use MS Office, esp. Excel and Access, Business Objects (BO) and Tableau tools.
- JIRA experience preferred
- Comfortable with large data sets and analyzing data in Excel.
- 1 year or more of experience in healthcare (managed care, payer, government, etc.)
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $ 65,100 to $ 91,100 for California.
