Job DescriptionEllucian Banner ERP BUSINESS ANALYSTContract 6 months Open to W2 or C2C For Immediate HireWork with a public school district in the greater Glendale / Pasadena CA area as an IT Business Analyst / Project Manager for an Ellucian Banner ERP application related to Admissions, Student Records and other education related areas.Youll collaborate with system users across academic affairs to understand existing business processes, identify challenges and inefficiencies, and work to develop process improvements.Develop project definitions, timelines, and functional/technical specifications.In this key position youll work closely with the Districts IT team, administration and users to ensure the timely implementation of functionalities, documentation and training.
Youll also work closely with the applications development team, as well as users within the school district, to understand and implement business processes, workflows, and information requirements.Must have experience with Ellucian Banner and Business Analysis.
Project Management a strong plus.
Work on-site.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Ellucian Banner Business Analyst will:Work closely with business stakeholders to define and translate business requirements into clear and complete solutions including designs and specifications for the development teamHave Project Management responsibilities within the position, monitor and report project progress to team and business stakeholdersIdentify and prioritize technical and functional requirements to facilitate business process workflow design and improvementsEnsure that the development team understands designs and specifications, with minimal risk of reworkCollaborate with QA teams in testing and validating delivered solutions in various stages of maturity and completeness, including early proof-of-concept versions, pre-production User Acceptance Testing and post-implementation validationSubject matter expertise for escalated user support requestsDraft content for end user communication and trainingProvide creative problem solving, quick fixes, and workarounds when necessary to sustain business operations, while the development of permanent solutions is in progressProvide thought leadership in CRM best practices, general business analysis, and business process enablement.Experience and QualificationsMinimum 5 years IT Business Analyst experienceProject / Program ManagementExperience working with Ellucian Banner ERP systems (A MUST)OTHERStrong analytical skills with ability to create requirement specifications in both technical and user friendly language.Experience and understanding of SDLC processesEnsure training to meet the needs of the end-users.Ability to organize and manage work effectively, react quickly, switch focus but keep on task and targetAbility to ask clear and pointed questions and ability to seek/ pursue answersStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilityGood documentation skills.Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the business.Strong interpersonal and outstanding communication skills TO APPLYDon’t hesitate We welcome your application For immediate consideration, please send your resume as a word doc (preferred).Commuting distance from the Glendale / Pasadena area preferred.
