The Customer Service team provides operational support to First Republic clients, both external and internal. We move quickly to serve our clients’ needs so that their financial transactions are handled with ease and efficiency. Responsibilities

First Republic Bank is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with at least 2 experience working directly with FIS IBS Core Banking platform including bank control. TheBusiness Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the Core Banking System and related core servicing platforms. This role is a key SME on the FIS IBS Core Banking Platform and will support all core systems operations, change management and integration efforts between third party systems and the core banking platform. The position serves as a liaison and requires the ability to build and maintain effective working partnerships with various partners.

The primary duty of the Business Systems Analyst will be to support the banks IBS Core Banking platform. The candidate will work with business managers and other Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to identify, prioritize and implement solutions to improve efficiency, reduce risk and support new business. The candidate is expected to be a self-starter requiring minimal oversight, be results-oriented and have a strong sense of teamwork of Bank culture.

What you’ll do as a Business Systems Analyst:
– Responsible for supporting the core banking system and related platforms.
– Support IBS Core Banking platform including application support for SRM, FTM, Mass Exchange, Bank Control, TellerInsight, IFM, Image Center, Deposits, Loans and CIF.
– Serves as subject matter expert (SME) for the core banking platforms
– Provide user support for core banking platforms; report and escalate software system issues requiring direct vendor input and support
– Support daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual systems operational activities supporting production systems.
– Support daily production activities of the Core Support Team
– Support incidents, problems, changes and configurations pertaining to the Core Banking Systems.
– Partner closely with IS and business partners to implement new capabilities and/or issue resolutions.
– Support team managing release schedules, enhancements and defect lists for applications under management.
– Lead issue escalation problem solving and remediation
– Maintain up to date knowledge of technology, business processes, and practices for continuous application and process improvements
– Develop User Acceptance Test scripts and training material in order to execute defined solutions.
– Support prioritization of work requests
– Advocate for business partners during prioritization processes.
– Maintain up-to-date priority and planning decisions in department tracking application.
– Work with the project team to document needed testing for all scope items
– Coordinate testing efforts with QA
– Work with the vendor to report testing results, and coordinate retesting as needed once new code is put into place.
– Provide regular, clear, and concise status updates to business partners and management
– Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities or as assigned by supervisor.
– Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.), 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to the BSA/AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank.

Qualifications

– Required:Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in systems analyst role working with IBS Core banking platform
– Working knowledge of IBS Insight Deposits and Loans, SRM/FTM, IFM, Bank Control and CIF
– Working knowledge of IBS Business Intelligence Center
– Knowledge and experience in banking/financial services regulatory compliance
– Experience monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators
– Experience establishing processes and methodologies for preventative actions
– Process and deadline oriented
– Proactive individual able to operate efficiently in a fast paced environment.
– Strong problem-solving skills is a must
– Ability to be detail-oriented and handle multiple tasks concurrently is a must
– Proven success in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
– Superior verbal and written communication skills
– Able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical personnel.

– Strong working knowledge of MS Word/ MS Excel/ MS Visio/ MS PowerPoint/ MS Access.
– Knowledge of HTML, XML, java scripting, VB scripting, and OnBase a plus.
