Associate Business Analyst (PLM) will be a key member of the Digital & Data Strategy department within Amgens Combination Product Operations (CPO) and support the Product Owner of the CPO Digital Thread (3DEXPERIENCE Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform) with its defintion, build and roll-out.

The Business Analyst will work with user groups within CPO to document relevant business processes and help identify opportunities for digitalization within PLM.

The candidate will support the development of a validated data model within PLM for the applicable business processes.

They will work with the PLM product team to identify and develop key capabilities necessary to digitalize CPO Development & Commercialization for Device platforms and Secondary Packaging within the PLM platform.

Additionally, the candidate will provide user support and feedback for system updates and enhancements from the business to the PLM Product team and support the business in onboarding and training users in digitalized workflows and new capabilities.

Responsibilities Document business processes for CPO Development and Commercialization in collaboration with appropriate Subject-matter Experts (SMEs) within various groups across CPO and help identify gaps/opportunities for digitalization.

Maintain and update business process documentation as per changes to functional Standard operating procedures (SOPs), updated workflows, etc.

Support definition of functional area requirements for PLM platform and helps manage User stories within the product backlog.

Represent functional area use cases in PLM Product/ Community/ Governance meetings Raise issues/requests to CPO Digital Thread (PLM) Product Owner as necessary Support development and delivery of appropriate training to relevant user groups within CPO Collect and document enhancement requests for CPO Digital workflows within PLM Participate in business process testing (BPTs) and test-a-thons (TAT) Build functional area support network (appropriate SMEs/Process owners, etc.) to ensure up-to-date business process and needs documentation and input to PLM product team Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
– ability to distill, craft and present key messages relative to diverse audience requirements Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed team environment.

Basic Qualifications: Masters degree in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Biomedical Engineering or related field Or Bachelors degree in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Biomedical Engineering or related field and 2 years of product development/commercialization function experience Or Associates degree in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Biomedical Engineering or related field and 6 years of product development/commercialization function experience Or High school diploma / GED and 8 years of product development/commercialization function experience Preferred Qualifications: Prior understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements and their application in a phase appropriate manner Experience with design controls and/or design transfer is a plus Demonstrated capability to influence and motivate change with impacted stakeholders Passion for proactively finding opportunities through business process analysis and modeling Intellectual curiosity with ability to learn new concepts/frameworks, systems, and technology rapidly as needs arise Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously Ability to work in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments Experience with Agile Software development processes is a plus Experience creating and executing with schedules in project planning software Thrive Some of the vast rewards of working here As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates professional and personal growth and well-being.
