As a Brand Ambassador you will be representing NorCal Cannabis brands at key retail locations and interacting directly with cannabis consumers.
It’s your job to develop a deep knowledge for our brands and the industry as a whole, so that you can speak to customers intelligently and comfortably about our products.
You will work closely with our Sales and Marketing departments to achieve our marketing goals and objectives, such as communicating the value of our products to customers, tracking customer feedback, and representing the brand at launches and events.
To excel in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and networking skills, and a strong presence on social media.
Previous experience as a brand ambassador or similar role is strongly desired, as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles.
Punctuality and reliability are of utmost importance because of the time and resources that go into scheduling and promoting retail events.
Professionalism and great customer service are also expected at all times in this position. This role is specifically for the Los Angeles market.
Must be COVID-19 Vaccinated by start date.
Responsibilities
Facilitating product demos in key accounts Support in-store merchandising efforts Familiarizing yourself with the company’s mission, vision, and goals.
Communicate and build trusting relationships with potential customers Have a strong understanding of our products’ key features and differentiators Support in-store merchandising efforts Work alongside your Account Manager(s) to support communication and sales efforts in accounts Provide feedback to the Marketing and Sales departments regarding customers’ requests, and competitors’ marketing activities Fill out a detailed Event Report templates after each event Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times.
Managing the inventory and distribution of merchandising assets across all of CA Leveraging company tools: CRM, Slack, Excel, Google Mail & Apps to make our business more efficient and effective.
Staying on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth Follow all state, local, and company rules and ensure conformance to all laws Maintains up-to-date understanding of line office operations and procedures needed to comply with aspects of cannabis law and regulation, as provided by the Compliance Department and Line Office Management, and follows such operations and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
Residence within the Los Angeles area Must have reliable transportation Outgoing and have excellent customer service and communication skills Strong cannabis industry knowledge and experience preferred, but not required Reliable transportation, driver’s license and excellent driving record Punctual, detail oriented, able to learn, retain and convey information about NCC’s products and values Must be 21+ years old Proficiency with popular social media platforms such as Instagram and Snapchat Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus Must be able to sit or stand for hours at a time Must be able to lift/carry 40 pounds
