Essential Functions:
This position involves two or more maintenance or craft skill sets that must keep the plant operational. Duties for this position range from operating a 400HP and 600HP boiler, repair/replacement of equipment (pumps, probes, etc.), monitoring heating/cooling systems of water, water treatment, water filtration system, and air compressors.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Preventative Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Complete assigned PMs and WOs with complete thoroughness and report all parts used and any findings;
- PM’s/WO’s assigned will primarily consist of utility maintenance issues but if required mechanical work will also be assigned
- WO’s will be issued by the admin/supervisor which can include requests from other departments (i.e. safety, quality, production, etc.)
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediately repairs as needed
- Respond to radio calls throughout the plant as it pertains to your area to assist with safety, quality, and production needs;
- Work with the maintenance team and other departments leads/managers on any issues that affect safety, quality, and production;
- Read and interpret documents such as safety documents, operating, maintenance, procedure manuals
- Respond to immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, power/equipment failure, etc.)
- Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned area

Desired Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Working in a high-speed food manufacturing environment
- Mechanical knowledge (3 years preferred).
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Unlimited Steam Engineer License required
