The Resilient Space Technologies Group is part of Boeing Phantom Works which creates differentiated capabilities and services by relentlessly pursuing innovation in design, thinking and execution.

Boeing Phantom Works Space creates the next generation products and services for the Boeing Defense, Space & Security business.

We work with proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space.

Phantom Works focuses on rapid prototyping to demonstrate a host of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers.

Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.We are seeking a Systems Analysis Engineer with experience in satellites to work in a rapid development environment.This engineer will evaluate customer electromagnetic needs to define and coordinate space system requirements for electrical Electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures.

Perform analyses to optimize total system architecture.

Perform analyses for affordability, reliability, maintainability, testability, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success The role will lead the payload design, development and production for a small spacecraft.

Position Responsibilities:Design, develop, and specify a radar payload for space.Understanding of electrical, mechanical, radar, software and sensor engineering for space productsKnowledge and ability to perform analyses in support of a complex space system.Coordination between multiple Boeing sites in support of a space system.Taking a rapid prototype system into a production program.Apply willingness to stretch beyond their experience base and to take risks to achieve objectives.

This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI U.S.

Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):BS degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or Engineering.Experience in developing a space radar payload.Experience in developing payload-level requirements and verification/validation plans.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in development, build and test of small and medium-sized spacecraft payloads.Experience in a dynamic rapid prototyping environment,Prior history working proprietary programs with a variety of Government entities in a classified environmentAbility to work with a supplier and diverse, distributed team.Integration and testing experience.

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Shift:This is a 1st shift position.
