Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent with a passion for Aerospace Products and Services to join our Supply Chain Contra cting team in Tukwila, WA.

The procurement agent will execute and manage contracts for a variety of products and services that range in value and complexity.

Position Responsibilities: Issues Requests for Proposals/Quotes, performing proposal fact-finding and Price and Cost Analysis, developing negotiation strategies utilizing supplier cost & pricing data, contract terms and conditions and preparing contractual documents and binding agreements.

Manages supplier performance to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and other key support to programs.

Cultivates and maintains supplier relationships.

Performs continuous review and analysis of supply and demand.

Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.

Prioritizes and manages purchase requisition queue.

Develops procurement plans and communicates those plans to internal and external customers.

Employee Engagement Activities.

Process Improvements.

Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Analysis.

Basic project management.

Conflict Management/Resolution.

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in Tukwila, WA.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

§ 120.15 is required.

“US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or higher.

More than 1 year of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.

More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): More than 1 year of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).

More than 1 year of experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning).

More than 1 year of experience negotiating non-competitive, government procurements that exceed the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold.

Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.G.

Master+1 years’ related work experience, 7 years’ related work experience, etc.) Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.

Travel: Position may require travel up to 20% of the time.
