Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Behavioral Learning Network LLC provides state-of-the-art Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) treatment for children with autism, ages 2-22, in their homes, schools, and communities. All services are based on the scientific principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. We offer a continuum of behavior intervention services from assessment and consultation to full treatment models in the home, community, and school settings. Positions available throughout Los Angeles and the South Bay including but not limited to Greater Los Angeles (including Santa Monica, Culver City, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Inglewood, Koreatown, Downtown, East and West LA), Pasadena, Glendale, San Fernando Valley, South Bay, San Pedro and Long Beach.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Case Supervision
  • Conduct Assessments (VB-MAPP, FBAs, VABS)
  • Generate treatment plans and progress reports
  • Provide supervision and training to behavioral technicians
  • Lead bi-monthly team meetings and parent trainings
  • Collaborate with parents and school personnel
  • Participate in monthly group supervision/peer mentorship with a cohort of peers
  • Participate in IEP meetings
  • Local travel required

Required Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®)
  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism
  • Experience conducting assessments, overseeing new program development and implementing behavioral treatment programs
  • Strong oral and written communication, problem solving, and management skills
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation and willing to travel.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Current automobile insurance
  • TB Clearance
  • Criminal background clearance through the California DOJ and FBI.
  • Willingness to work with children that engage in severe problem behaviors including but not limited to punching, kicking, biting, throwing objects, spitting, peeing and scratching.

In addition, the job requires a full range of body motion including the ability to stand, stoop, kneel, reach, run, push and pull when responding to student challenging behaviors, eye/hand coordination, and the ability to lift students weighing 50 pounds, using proper body mechanics. The position also requires repetitive movements of the wrists, hand and/or fingers, the ability to receive and express detailed information through oral communication, visual acuity, and the ability to read and understand written directions.
