Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Are you passionate about empowering adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their highest level of independence? We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a mission-driven team providing innovative, person-centered services.

As a BCBA, you will play a key role in conducting assessments, designing treatment plans, managing complex behavior cases, and providing clinical supervision and support. This role involves direct collaboration with clients, staff, external partners, and community resources to ensure individualized and effective support.

Key Responsibilities:

Behavior Analysis

  • Conduct skills and functional behavior assessments
  • Develop and modify individualized treatment plans
  • Lead staff training and interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Monitor data collection, analyze trends, and adjust interventions
  • Prepare progress reports and incident documentation for funding agencies
  • Supervise and evaluate behavior therapists

Case Management

  • Manage a caseload of adult clients seeking supported employment
  • Collaborate with Department of Rehabilitation, Regional Center, Social Security, and other agencies
  • Oversee referrals, eligibility screenings, and benefits enrollment
  • Coordinate services and maintain organized client documentation
  • Facilitate job readiness training, employer outreach, and case reporting

Program Management

  • Hire, train, and mentor program staff
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations and maintain compliance
  • Participate in audits and ensure quality service delivery
  • Oversee office operations and foster interdepartmental collaboration
  • Contribute to program development and strategic planning

Leadership & Community Engagement

  • Represent the program in the community and on committees
  • Strengthen relationships with stakeholders, funders, and employers
  • Foster a positive, growth-oriented work environment

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related field
  • Active BCBA or BCBA-D certification in good standing
  • Minimum 3 years of ABA experience with adults with developmental disabilities
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Valid California driver’s license, insurance, and clean DMV record
  • Able to pass DOJ background clearance and maintain CPR/First Aid certification
  • Compassionate and client-focused with a commitment to person-centered care

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to drive for work and provide physical assistance to adult clients, including pushing wheelchairs up to 250 lbs
  • Must be able to assist clients with transitions in/out of vehicles and restroom support
  • Completion of Professional Crisis Management Certification within 90 days of hire (training provided)
  • Note: This role may not be suitable for individuals with recent injuries or mobility limitations
