Biological/Chemical Scientist/Engineer 1st Shift

Minimum of 3 -5 years of hands on experience in Protein purification techniques, analysis, and conjugation of macromolecules is highly desirable. The position is open to support operation and quality related project for the department, therefore minimum of 3 years of operational experience and leading in a fast -paced manufacturing work environment is required. Minimum of B.S in Biochemistry or related field is also required.
Key elements /qualification required
• Experience in Protein A purification, Ion Exchange Chromatography, Size exclusion Chromatography
• Experience with routine Biochemical analysis: SDS PAGE, western blotting, Isoelectric focusing (IEF), FPLC systems, including Akta Prime and HPLC
• Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills and problem- solving skills
• Experience in Quality driven projects such as validation, risk-based assessment, recommend and implement corrective actions for processes, ability to write Standard Operating Procedure and work instruction.
• Strong understanding of cGMP and GLP
• Experience working with ERP such as SAP for inventory management and manufacturing order management is highly desired
• Experience in multitasking and working in a fast pace manufacturing work environment.
• Experience in project management and or supporting operation from inventory adjustments in ERP system such as SAP, monitoring status of projects, closing production orders and leading in the logistics to ship critical reagents with proper documentation to customers is highly desired
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated to adopt challenging environment with a positive, win-win attitude
