Our client, a leader in the industrial automation industry, is looking for a BIM Modeler in their South Chandler, AZ location. You’ll will generate content for the organization’s VDC team to utilize in a variety of ways, including but not limited to construction sequence planning, proposals, shop drawings, spooling, pre-assembly and pre-fabrication efforts, safety orientations, and task planning.

Pay Rate: $30.00 – $40.00/hr (non-exempt)

About the Role:
- Receive, process, and archive model files from designers, staff, and trade subcontractors.
- Develop model components from initial ideas to prototypes, shop/approval drawings, and jigging/assembly concepts for production-grade delivery.
- Assist in the development of sequencing and assembly steps, and visually communicate these steps to stakeholders using 4D modeling, as well as Facilitate the exchange and coordination of 3D model elements with consultants, contractors, and fabricators.
- Create bill of materials/cut lists and support pricing and estimating efforts using 5D modeling.
- Conduct quality control (QC) review of personally produced work before distribution to other teams and participate in quality assurance (QA) reviews of work done by other modelers within the team.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in the architectural, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry, or relevant manufacturing industry, with a specialization in production modeling and detailing using 3D model objects.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and proficiency in model authoring software, such as Revit, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar tools.
- Possess a working knowledge of Navisworks clash detection for effective coordination and clash resolution.
- Exhibit strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills to promptly respond to information requests and tasks.
- Must have a flexible work schedule to accommodate extended periods of overtime or off-shift work as needed to align with changing construction sequences.
