– ExemptPosition Type: Full-TimeReports To: Billing/AR ManagerOVERVIEW/PURPOSE:ATS Trans LLC (ATS) is the foremost transportation service in the Puget Sound, WA area, serving those with special needs, as well as customers seeking point-to-point driver services.The Billing Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of technical accounting duties associated with the billing and accounts receivable processes.Essential Functions:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Billing:Maintains accounts receivable records and files.Prepares customer invoices, reviewing and ensuring accuracy.Applies customer payments.Researches and solves payment discrepancies.Follows up on overdue accounts as needed.Processes credit card payments and credits.Makes adjustments to accounts as needed.Prepares reports as requested by Manager and Controller.Performs other accounting project work as assigned by managers.HR Technical:Processes all onboarding actions in the HRIS system.
Ensures all actions are complete and accurate.Maintains all personnel files/records, I9 files etc.Runs reports as requested.Other HR technical tasks as assigned.
RequirementsRequired Education & Experience:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years accounting, bookkeeping or accounts receivable experienceMust be able to pass a criminal and financial background check.Must be able to pass a drug test.Must be Covid 19 vaccinated.Other Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent communication skills, both orally and written.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to work well in a team environment.Ability to work independently.Ability to prioritize tasks.Attention to detail and accuracy is critical.Ethical conduct.Proficient in Excel and AccessSalary Description $18-$20.hr
