Billing Specialist

As a Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our financial processes run smoothly and accurately. You will be responsible for handling all aspects of billing, from invoice generation to payment processing, while also ensuring customer satisfaction through clear communication regarding their financial inquiries. Your efforts will directly contribute to our goal of delivering exceptional service to our clients while managing the financial aspects of their projects. Responsibilities

  • Generate and issue invoices to clients promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
  • Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment issues.
  • Reconcile monthly statements and manage discrepancies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on billing and collections for management review.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of billing policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate billing based on project completion and client requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of billing procedures and methods.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to clients and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
