GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION The Benefits Specialist position is responsible for the administration of day-to-day operations for the group benefit programs including but not limited to group health, dental, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending plan, COBRA, leave of absence, employee wellness initiatives, 401(k), deferred compensation plan, and retiree plans.

This position is expected to assist in various HR initiatives and help ensure benefits are in alignment with the company’s strategic business objectives.

KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

CEBS or PHR a plus.

Job Experience: Five years related benefit administration experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication, strong attention to detail and strong organization skills are required.

Proven ability to work collaboratively with HR colleagues and prioritize overlapping responsibilities Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of benefits framework.

Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, SECTION 125, etc.

Champion new ideas and initiatives that foster and support creativity, innovation and risk taking within the organization.

Ability to problem solve complex systems and processes Develop an extensive knowledge of Ansell’s legacy plans Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of ADP & Oracle a plus.
