Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.This Production Assistant is responsible for various tasks at the LA Bureau, combining both production and editorial duties, in the office and out in the field in support of the production of a daily television show. Responsibilities include assisting producers with logging, research, and outreach for various stories in anything from human interest to true crime, film, tv and music. The position will also report to the bureau chief and be responsible for general office administration such as filing, ordering, local pick-ups, data entry, photocopying, and distribution of production paperwork. This position also provides assistance to our production crews out in the field and on set in assisting in setting up and striking shoots.II.
