Bartko Zankel Bunzel & Miller is seeking an attorney with at least seven years of experience in labor and employment law to join its diverse Labor and Employment Practice Group.
We offer a unique opportunity for attorneys who seek to broaden their employment practice as our practice includes single plaintiff lawsuits, class actions and PAGA actions, and advice and regulatory compliance, as well as traditional labor.
Our clients operate in a wide-range of industries including news media, entertainment, healthcare, biotechnology and ski resorts, among others.
This is a great opportunity for an attorney who wants exposure to all aspects of employment law, and does not want to be pigeon holed.We are looking for someone who has experience with traditional litigation (depositions, dispositive motions), a good understanding of California wage-and-hour laws, and experience providing advice and counsel to corporate entities (i.E., handbooks, policy updates).
Any background in collective bargaining, unfair practice charges or labor arbitration hearings is a plus but is not required.
Candidates must possess strong research and writing skills, be able to prioritize assignments, and work collaboratively with other members of the Practice Group.Please include a resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample to Sally Bondi.
