Banquets Houseperson

    – Sofitel Los Angeles is looking for a Banquets Houseperson who will be responsible for cleaning, clearing and setting up all Banquet spaces according to criteria in a timely manner.

    What you will be doing:
    – Prepare rooms for special events according instructions and banquet event format
    – Places furniture and materials needed in their assigned areas
    – After events, clean areas and make sure everything is put back in place
    – Perform duties that require organization, efficiency, lifting, pushing bending and squatting towards the health & safety regulations
    – Handles multiple priorities, works under stress and exercises good judgment when dealing with guest situations and complaints

Your experience and skills include:

    – Previous Banquets experience.
    – Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience in the hotel industry, restaurant department in luxury hotel
    – Food handler certification-mandatory
    – TIPS training certification- mandatory
