This position is responsible for the complete set up and service of food and beverage, as well as catering to all guests’ needs.

The Banquet Server works closely with the Banquet Captain to provide the guest with an enjoyable dining experience.

Specifically, it is the Banquet Server’s job to do the following: Serve and clear food and beverages quietly, professionally, and quickly using proper serving and clearing techniques.

Ensure the setting of proper silverware according to the diagram and/or sample table.

Maintain excellent grooming and personal hygiene.

Keep work area clean, and coordinate actions with the Banquet team members, and all other members of the front and back of the house to ensure flawless customer service.

Organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks Required Experience?

Two (2) years of fine dining experience required.

Experience ranging from serving intimate parties to club-wide events.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing personal services.

This includes meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of member satisfaction.

Required Education?

High school graduate or GED equivalent required; vocational school preferred.

Working Conditions Must be able to work in a well-lighted, temperature-controlled work area.

Must be able to see and work with members and work in an open area with other employees.

The employee will come in contact with chemicals and cleaning solvents as necessary.

Will be exposed to cold temps (freezers), heat from stoves/ovens, use of sharp kitchen tools.

Physical Requirements The ability to communicate in both written and spoken English so that others will understand.

Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and stamina necessary.

Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
