Job Summary
As a Backend Engineer at Veo, you will help build and upgrade the framework that supports our fleet of vehicles. This person will deploy algorithms to optimize our current micro-services backend systems. You’ll work closely with our other engineers, design, and data team. Responsibilities and Duties
- Developing, integrating and deploying VeoRide’s backend system
- Design elegant system that serves different features
- Refactor/Optimize current system structures, performance and databases
- Supporting system testing and new version release and upgrades
- Troubleshooting and debugging to maintain our current backend system
- Improving reliability, scalability, and performance of our current backend system
Qualifications and Skills
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in the software development sector/technology industry
- Fluent in Java/Go with a deep understanding of SpringBoot, Spring Cloud, Kubernetes/Docker, Gin
- Experienced in CI/CD process
- Great insight on system design and object-oriented programming
- Logical thinker and effective communicator with a clean and efficient coding style
- Cooperative and collaborative working style with other individuals and development teams
- Deep understanding of algorithms and design pattern is a huge plus
- Passionate about making the world a better place to live and ride
