You will focus on building our event driven architectures to support large scale, real-time applications. You will be heavily involved in designing, architecting, and maintaining Golang and Node.js code, as well as providing component and system level designs of our event driven services and real-time applications.Responsibilities:Collaborate with other software engineers and cross-functional teamsTroubleshoot issues and fix defectsShould be able to articulate and architecture a well-designed system.Understands application integration, event driven architecture and integrating multiple microservices.Build out microservices for our event driven workflows.Deploy code to AWSQualificationsExperience with REST APIs, GRPC Microservice architectures, and async programming modelExperience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ, etc.) and near-real-time data pipelinesExperience with development languages such as C, Go, Node.js.You’ve architected event driven microservices and used familiar EDA patterns (pubsub, outbox, inbox, CQRS, event sourcing)Experience with both SQL and NoSQL data storesWorking experience with various data formats such as Avro, JSON, ParquetExperience in Agile/Scrum methodology#LI-TM2Equal Opportunity Statement:Sony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
