Position Description:
Under the supervision of the Director of Sports Medicine, coordinate, at a high level, athletic injury prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation to UCLA varsity student-athletes. Organize injury prevention programs. Share responsibility of Athletic Training services for all sports and student-athletes as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine.

This position will be assigned specific coverage for Men’s Soccer and other sports as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine. Athletic Training services to include: coordination of physical exams for team, evaluation, treatment and documentation of injuries, design and supervision of rehabilitation programs, and supervise and counsel sports medicine student interns assigned to practice and game coverage. Communicate and document athletes’ progress to athletic training staff, physicians, conditioning staff and coaches. Maintain written and computerized documentation on all athletes’ injuries, treatments and rehabilitation. Refer injured athletes to UCLA team physicians as appropriate.
Administrative and other duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine.

Specifically, this position will be responsible for facility issues, therapy pool service, modalities carts and supervisor in our sports medicine student program.
