Associate-Video Ops

Overall Purpose: Responsible for managing the health of the Entertainment Platform within, but not limited to the Linear, Streaming, VOD and Ad Insertion platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities: Tasked with monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting on-air services.

Provides immediate response to system problems and outages.

Responsible for fault management detection via ticketing, equipment alerts and communication from external Care Teams.

Helps to quickly identify source of issue and work toward problem resolution by removing roadblocks.

Knowledge sharing with next tier support to identify and resolve problems quickly, inclusive of configuration and equipment management.

Handoff of issue to Tier II support when required.

Manages ticketing and tracking of problems.

Part of 24×7 staff delivering technical support.

Education: Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.

Experience: Typically requires 1-2 years experience.

Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.

Supervisory: No.
