Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environmentsThe Boeing Phantom Works division is seeking an Associate Space Modeling and Simulation Engineer (Level 2) to provide support to the Resilient Space Technologies Group.

The Resilient Space Technologies Group is part of Boeing Phantom Works which creates differentiated capabilities and services by relentlessly pursuing innovation in design, thinking and execution.

We work with proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space.

Phantom Works focuses on rapid prototyping to demonstrate a host of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers.

Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.This position will assist in development of classified space system modeling in compliance with our customers’ requirements and mission needs.

This position will involve the development and execution of simulations of systems and spacecraft on a broad range of projects in a collaborative environment.

It will support all types of CONOPs generation and refinement through modeling and analysis of the system.

This position is best suited to individuals who are self-starters, highly motivated, work well in fast paced multi-discipline team environments, and are able to work with quick decisions for the best interest of the business.This position allows telecommuting.

The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.Position Responsibilities:Assist in the analysis of embedded software systems through, code review, and software or hardware testing Develop the models and simulations for subsystems, systems, and systems of systems analyses.Assist in the development of the CONOPS for systems based on trade analyses via the modeling simulation of the system.Follow research and stay up-to-date with the latest research in modeling techniques and tools.Apply willingness to learn new software languages and architectures.Apply willingness to stretch beyond their experience base and to take risks to achieve objectives.This position requires an active Top Secret U.S.

Secret Security Clearance (U.S.

Citizenship Required).

(A U.S.

Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higher in engineering or related field.Experience in Data Visualization tools.Experience in MATLAB coding, tools, and analysis.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in Root Cause Analysis.Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.

Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

Master).
