Associate – Licensing & Royalties (HYBRID)

That starts with you What you will be doing: Assist partners, senior managers, and managers with contract compliance audits of intellectual property (“IP”) licenses, related to a variety of entertainment, technology, and corporate properties. Assist partners, senior managers, and managers with writing reports documenting project findings. Support partners, senior managers, and managers on special projects. Read and summarize license agreements (“Agreements”). Manage and summarize data sets. Maintain organization of electronic files and folders. Follow a step-by-step inspection program. Reconcile revenue and expenses to determine compliance with the Agreements. Assist with on site and remote fieldwork. Conduct internet research. Correspond with clients and licensees, record companies, and studios. Prepare detailed schedules supporting conclusions. Candidate must be willing to travel domestically and internationally. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. What skills & experience you need to succeed in this role: Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Possess a CPA or CFE, or be a candidate for one. Experience working in licensing and royalties preferred. Self-motivated and detail-oriented analytical thinker. Possess excellent verbal written communication skills and reading comprehension. Understand basic mathematical and accounting principles. Work well independently and in a team environment. Be eager to learn new skills and concepts. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
