As part of Boeing’s Space & Missile Systems division, Satellite Systems owns the company’s major commercial and government satellite and ground programs for communications, national defense and other missions. Satellite Systems leads all aspects of the design, development, manufacture, integration and testing of satellites. This position is located in El Segundo, CA.Your dreams go beyond Planet Earth. You will be a leader in space innovation.Position Responsibilities: Design and development of state-of-the art electronics for space-based applications Duties will include electronics design, requirements and interface definition, modeling and analysis, testing, performance and design verification Technical support for production and test of space-qualified electronic Support projects involving Electronics design. Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products. Develop detailed designs of limited scope. Conducts various methods of testing and analysis to support design. Capture data for technical performance measures and performs basic analysis. Provide basic engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product. Conducts trade studies and literature research to support future product designs. Work under general supervision.This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance post start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): Bachelor’s in engineering degree or higher 2 or more years of engineering experience or a Master’s degreePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with digital electronics (digital circuit design) BS in Electrical EngineeringTypical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).
