The Associate will conduct technical reviews & analysis of intellectual property assets in the areas of vehicle sensor systems, Lidar imaging systems, multi-sensor integration, and image processing for autonomous vehicles (AV) or driver assist systems (ADAS).
This 3 month assignment may lead to a longer engagement.
Support to be carried out as part of a team directed by an IP research manager with over 10 years experience.
The position requires analytical ability to efficiently review published information (e.g.
NPL & Patents) and flag documents relevant to the key technology and product features within the focus.
Candidates will also generate reports that highlight technology ownership globally, key innovations and important trends.
Viable Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree or Ph.D.
in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics or another field germane to sensor systems design, image processing, or optics and photonics.
Strong analysis skills needed.
Previous patent exposure is helpful, but not necessary.
