Associate Attorney – Real Estate [SF or LA]

Position Overview:

BakerHostetlers Los Angeles office is seeking a mid-level associate (4-7 years experience) to join its Real Estate Group. The candidate will join our team of more than 50 attorneys in a multidisciplinary real estate practice representing lenders and borrowers in all types of commercial real estate transactions, including complex, high-stakes projects around the country

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience in real estate finance; lender-side is a plus, but not required
  • Experience in real estate transactions including structuring joint ventures, purchase and sale agreements, and management agreements
  • Familiarity with leasing is a plus, but not required
  • Am Law 100 experience
  • A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school
  • Must be admitted to practice law in the state of California

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated the following attributes:

  • Ability to take the lead on deals and interface with clients
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
  • The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment
