ATARID has been retained to identify an Associate Manager by our client, a developer in affordable housing: Title: Associate – Asset Management, Affordable Housing Responsibilities: -Assist the Asset Manager with onboarding new assets, capital projects, major tenant improvement/construction projects and value-add during the asset lifecycle. -Conduct regular analysis of operating statements, budgets and other data relating to asset management. -Forecast operating performance and capital needs, report finding to Asset Manager. -Proactively identify property performance issues. -Support the Asset Manager in preparing status updates on portfolio assets by providing relevant reports and supporting documentation on a regularly. -Assist with third party property management companies. Qualifications: -1-2 years’ experience as Associate in development of affordable housing -Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or accounting; or 6 years’ work experience may be substituted for education. -Working knowledge of LIHTC -Excellent written and oral communication skills. -Strong financial background with knowledge of real estate -Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google tools. -Strong problem-solving skills, organized, detailed with ability to meet deadlines, and execute projects. -Results driven, team player with ability to collaborate across the organization.
