More information is available at www.alliant.comSUMMARYResponsible for assisting client team and supporting Producers by servicing existing accounts and soliciting new business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssists client team with developing to determine bid and/or renewal strategy for mid-market client accounts; Assists client team with identifying and evaluating the client’s specific characteristics including; benefit needs, design, group demographics and/or employee census;Gathers information and may provide analysis on client’s existing coverage;Assists with preparation of RFPs for client renewal or prospective groups, to include employee census, current/renewal plan design/rate information, and historical claims experience data;Works with client team to select employee benefit markets for solicitation and negotiates with incumbent and bidding carriers for benefit and premium considerations;Assists with analyzing market proposals for verification of benefits, premium, and competitiveness;May negotiate with incumbent and bidding carriers to ensure most competitive rates and/or products for clients and prospective clients;Assists other team members to resolve complex issues;Assists with preparing proposal for client presentations;Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION / EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 1 years related work experience Valid insurance license preferredMust continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewalEncouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisorSKILLSGood verbal and written communication skills Good customer service skills, including telephone and listening skillsGood problem solving and time management skillsIntermediate typing skills (30-35 wpm)Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteWe are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees’ needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.
