The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) David Geffen School of Medicine, seek an Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine.

Applicants must posses an M.D.

degree or equivalent and be eligible to obtain a California Medical License.

Candidates must also be board certified in the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the subspecialty of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM).

Candidates should have independent practice experience with a successful track record of academic excellence and research and publications, dedication to academic medicine and clinical expertise in both maternal and fetal medicine, including the ability to independently perform ultrasounds and fetal interventions.

Candidates with excellent communication, administrative, and leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will partner with the OB/GYN Department Chair, MFM Division Director, Residency Program Director, Designated Institutional Official and MFM Faculty to contribute to clinical, translational or basic science research; explore innovative approaches to refine and advance the MFM training program; and foster continuation of the program’s ACGME accreditation.

Responsibilities will

include direction and oversight of the fellowship training program.

Additional responsibilities include care of inpatient and outpatient obstetric patients; education of medical students, residents, and fellows; and active participation in the Division’s research mission.
