Job Description As a valued colleague on our team, you will guide the team in managing the loan administration process, assessing operational risks, and coordinating tactical execution and day-to-day operations for managing loans and mortgage-backed security (MBS) pool transactions, as well as oversee customer (lenders, services, and internal partners) performance and ensure data accuracy.

– Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities Primary responsibility is to process Capital Call requests that are received from Syndicators on transactions for which Fannie Mae is an equity investor; includes review and analysis of the transaction and associated documents to ensure compliance, completion of the wire form, obtaining necessary approvals, providing final wire package for forecasting and wire approval purposes, and updating the system of record (MRI/IC).
These capital call requests come in throughout the month, with the processing activities generally occurring within a 10-day period from receipt of the request to funding of the capital call.
Miscellaneous data updates to the system of record (MRI/IC) for ongoing activity associated with these equity transactions, including dispositions, adjustments and modifications, new transactions and receipt of funds.
This ongoing activity can occur throughout the month, with a high concentration at quarter-end.
Other as needed activities may include responding to questions, completing annual audit confirmations, working with accounting on monthly reconciliations and adhoc reporting.
