The AB (Asset-Based) Business Banking Portfolio Specialist manages a portfolio of asset-based structured loans in a variety of industries. The AB Portfolio Specialist is responsible for actively monitoring financial and collateral trends and recommending appropriate action. Responsibilities also include reviewing requests for loan modifications, analyzing financial performance, negotiating terms, drafting proposals, reviewing documents, preparing recommendations for approval, and strict adherence to policy and procedure requirements. Must be good at multi-tasking in order to meet the time deadlines of both the client and the bank. The AB Portfolio Specialist is an active member of the client team and interfaces directly with the client and participates in building the client relationship. Generally capable of handling the most sensitive accounts. Some travel required to meet with clients. Works closely with manager.
Required Skills:

2+ years’ experience in Commercial and/or ABL credit and relationship management experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration

Sound financial statement analytical skills

Must be detail focused and well organized

Proactive/confident communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact with senior management, clients, attorneys, etc.

Ability to thrive in a fast paced business environment with strong time management skills

Computer proficiency in Word and Excel with Power Point a plus
