Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Legal industry team. As a hybrid role, you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and controlling expenses for our clients. You will be working with ChromeRiver, a leading expense management software, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. This role requires a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity and a proven track record of success in managing Accounts Payable.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Accounts Payable process for our clients, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices
- Review and code invoices, obtain necessary approvals, and process payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all Accounts Payable transactions
- Work with ChromeRiver to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Control expenses by monitoring spending and identifying areas for cost savings
- Provide support to the Finance team as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related field
- Strong knowledge of ChromeRiver or similar expense management software
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Experience in the Legal industry is a plus
